Originally from France (Paris) I have been based in Hong Kong since 2000. Although I take interest in a lot of different things (I find it hard to focus my mind on a single topic), I would say I am a user experience manager.
In whatever I do I enjoy looking at interactions between people (within a company as well as outside it) and interactions between people and systems (interactive, organizational, cultural, etc.). This blog, I guess, reflects this with a focus on the online world where I mostly gravitates.

GoAnimate at its core is an online animation studio allowing anyone to create animated stories without having to draw. As the community grows, it is becoming an important enabler for many people from kids, educators and just about anyone to realize their dream of telling stories with animation instead of other media. A very exciting company to be a part of and a great product concept.
Position: Product Manager
Responsibilities: As GoAnimate is a start-up, we all do a bit of everything as needed there. “On paper”, I am in charge of all the UI-related tasks, from planning the user experience to implementing it in terms of design (supervising one web designer working with me as making things pretty… is not really my strength). Apart from that, GoAnimate is a great opportunity to see a web community grow and mature first hand. I will try to share these observation here on the blog.

go2gethr is a social networking site for people who want to meet in real life for some activities. It’s an attempt to build a social network, not as an end in itself, but as a tool to empower people in real life. Something I (and the others involved in the project) feel the web should do more of.
Responsibilities: On this project, I am in charge of all the front-end, including user experience, design and programming (CSS, HTML, Javascript).
